This piece you are looking at was taken by Programs Abroad Student Katie Burnside during her trip to Costa Rica in 2021. ‘This butterfly was featured in a Costa Rican Wildlife Museum where different insects, mammals, and amphibians are shown to tourists. The artist said “thank you to UT for allowing 14 students to travel abroad to Costa Rica in the summer of 2021 allowing us to experience the culture of Costa Rica. This culture is beautiful and unique and having the opportunity to experience it firsthand was something incomparable.”
