Our Mission

Our mission is to forge and strengthen enduring and strategic university partners across higher education institutions, government entities, and industries worldwide. Working in collaboration with our faculty and campus units, we aim to create and implement innovative initiatives that foster global learning, advance research endeavors, and facilitate impactful service opportunities.

Service Statement

GRIP serves as a strategic partner for colleges and departments, helping to identify, establish, and strengthen connections with international partners across higher education, industry, and government. Aligned with each college’s internationalization goals, GRIP provides the following support:

  • Funding Assistance: Identifies funding opportunities, supports application processes, and assists in implementing international initiatives.
  • Program Development: Collaborates to create academic and co-curricular programs that meet student needs, enhance global recruitment strategies, and address the college’s strategic goals.
  • Partner Engagement: Facilitates partnerships with institutions, industries, and government entities worldwide to expand opportunities and resources.
  • Administrative Support: Provides guidance for drafting, reviewing, and managing a wide range of international agreements.
  • Research Security: Working with ORIED and the university Contract Office, GRIP is part of the process of reviewing for research and global partnership security.
