All petitions to travel internationally must be submitted at least 10 business days before departure.
This petition is open to faculty, staff, graduate, and professional students only.
International Travel Petitions to these destinations are carefully reviewed and considered, and not all petitions are approved. You must provide a detailed rationale for why your proposed travel is essential and warrants an exception during the suspension of institutional international travel. Once your petition has been received by the Center for Global Engagement, they will ensure that it is complete and pass onto the review body – the Policy Group in the Emergency Operations Center. The committee reserves the right to request additional information from an applicant.
Travel should not commence until the petition has been reviewed and approved.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The Provost and the Center for Global Engagement reserves the right to revoke approval of petitions at any time. The changing nature of events abroad and revisions in the US State Department or Centers for Disease Control Advisories/Warnings/Alerts may require additional reviews before and during travel.
