40 Under 40 Alumni with Global Ties

header image that says alumni with international tiesThe Volunteer 40 Under 40 recognizes forty alumni under the age of 40 who have excelled personally and professionally since completing their degree at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.

The Center for Global Engagement is highlighting six wonderful alumni from this list that have international and global ties.

image of monica abbottMonica Abbott (‘08), a graduate of the College of Communication and Information, is a retired professional softball player who played in the National Pro Fastpitch softball league and in the Japan Softball League. During Abbott’s time at UT, she was an All-American pitcher for the Lady Vol softball team.

Evan Baddour (‘10), a graduate of the College of Arts and Sciences, is an attorney and duly elected county commissioner in Giles County, Tennessee. Baddour worked as an English teacher in South America in 2010 and is fluent in Spanish.

 

 

 

 

 


 

image of michelle howardMichelle Howard (’15), a graduate of the Institute of Agriculture, is a commercial business leader in the agriculture industry who serves as an international advisor for New Zealand Trade and Enterprise, the business development agency of the New Zealand government.
